IN THE (K)NOW is a five-day arts and sciences festival in Brussels (9-13 December 2026), taking place across KANAL - Centre Pompidou, LaVallée, iMAL and the Théâtre National.
The symposium brings together artists, researchers and practitioners over two days at KANAL. The programme unfolds across two tracks: New Imaginaries, on how arts and sciences can open up new responses to systemic crises; and S+T+ARTS Aqua Motion, a European project presenting two years of artistic residencies and Water Innovation Labs on contemporary water challenges. On Friday, sessions focus on the stakes of artistic research and arts and sciences initiatives in Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.

IN THE (K)NOW est un festival arts et sciences (9-13 décembre 2026), réparti entre KANAL - Centre Pompidou, LaVallée, iMAL et le Théâtre National.
Le symposium réunit artistes, chercheurs et praticiens sur deux jours à KANAL. Le programme se déploie en deux volets : New Imaginaries, sur la façon dont les arts et les sciences peuvent ouvrir de nouvelles réponses aux crises systémiques ; et S+T+ARTS Aqua Motion, un projet européen présentant deux ans de résidences artistiques et de Water Innovation Labs autour des défis contemporains liés à l’eau. Le vendredi, les sessions portent sur les enjeux de la recherche artistique et les initiatives arts et sciences en Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.
